Prayer to the Lineage of the Bodhicaryāvatāra

སྟོན་མཆོག་ལྷ་མིའི་བླ་མ་ཤཱཀྱའི་གཙོ། །
tön chok lhami lama shakyé tso
Supreme guide, teacher of gods and men, chief of the Śākyas,
རྒྱལ་སྲས་འཇམ་དཔལ་དབྱངས་དང་ཞི་བ་ལྷ། །
gyalsé jam pal yang dang zhiwa lha
The bodhisattva Mañjughoṣa, Śāntideva,
ཛེ་ཏཱ་རི་དང་ཟླ་གྲགས་ཆུང་བའི་ཞབས། །
dzé ta ri dang da drak chungwé zhab
Jetāri, Candrakīrti the Lesser,
ཇོ་བོ་གུ་ཎ་ཤྲཱི་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །
jowo gu na shri la solwa deb
And lord Guṇaśrī, to you we pray!
ཀཱ་ན་ཀ་ཤྲཱི་སུ་མ་ཏི་ཀིརྟི། །
kanakashri sumatikirti
Kanakaśrī, Sumatikīrti,
བློ་ལྡན་ཤེས་རབ་སློབ་དཔོན་རྗེ་བཙུན་པ། །
loden sherab lobpön jetsün pa
Ngok Loden Sherab,1 Master Jetsünpa,2
མཁས་པ་བུ་སྟོན་ཐུག་སྲས་ལོ་ཙཱ་བ། །
khepa bu tön tuk sé lotsawa
The scholar Butön,3 Tuksé Lotsāwa,4
གཡག་ཕྲུག་སངས་རྒྱས་དཔལ་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །
yak truk sangye pal la solwa deb
And Yaktruk Sangye Pal,5 to you we pray!
སངས་རྒྱས་འཕེལ་དང་ཕྲིན་ལས་མི་བསྐྱོད་རྗེ། །
sangye pel dang trinlé mi kyö jé
Sangye Pel,6 Lord Trinlé Mikyö,7
དཀོན་མཆོག་འབྱུང་གནས་ཀརྨ་ཆགས་མེད་ཞབས། །
könchok jungné karma chakmé zhab
Könchok Jungne,8 Karma Chakmé,9
གྲུབ་པའི་དབང་ཕྱུག་པདྨ་རིག་འཛིན་རྗེར། །
drubpé wangchuk pema rigdzin jer
Lord of siddhas, Pema Rigdzin,10
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེས་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
solwa deb so tukjé jingyi lob
To you we pray, bless us with your compassion!
ནམ་མཁའ་འོད་གསལ་ཐེག་མཆོག་བསྟན་འཛིན་ཞབས། །
namkha ösal tek chok tendzin zhab
Namkha Ösel,11 noble Tekchok Tenzin,12
བཀྲ་ཤིས་རྒྱ་མཚོ་རིག་འཛིན་བཟང་པོ་དང༌། །
tashi gyatso rikdzin zangpo dang
Tashi Gyatso,13 Rigdzin Zangpo,14
སེམས་དཔའ་ཆེན་པོ་པདྨ་བཀྲ་ཤིས་ལ། །
sempa chenpo pema tashi la
The great bodhisattva Pema Tashi,15
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེས་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
solwa deb so tukjé jingyi lob
To you we pray, bless us with your compassion!
རྒྱལ་བའི་སྲས་པོ་གཞན་ཕན་མཐའ་ཡས་དང༌། །
gyalwé sepo zhenpen tayé dang
Son of the buddhas, Shenpen Thayé,16
འཇིགས་མེད་ངོ་མཚར་འཇིགས་མེད་ཆོས་ཀྱི་དབང༌། །
jikmé ngotsar jikmé chö kyi wang
Jikmé Ngotsar,17 Jikmé Chökyi Wangpo,18
བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་ཀྱི་མངའ་བདག་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ། །
changchub sem kyi ngadak tamché la
To all you masters of bodhicitta,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེས་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
solwa deb so tukjé jingyi lob
We pray, bless us with your compassion!
ཚད་མེད་བཞི་ཡི་ཞིང་ས་གཤིན་པོ་ལ། །
tsemé zhi yi zhingsa shinpo la
In the fertile field of the four boundless qualities,
བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་ཀྱི་མྱུ་གུ་རབ་ཏུ་འཁྲུངས། །
changchub sem kyi nyugu rabtu trung
May the shoots of bodhicitta take root,
ཕྱིན་དྲུག་ལམ་གྱི་འབྲས་བཟང་ཆེན་སྨིན་ཏེ། །
chin druk lam gyi dré zang chen min té
Ripening into the excellent fruit of the path of the six pāramitās,
ཁམས་གསུམ་འགྲོ་བའི་ཉེར་འཚོའི་གཞིར་གྱུར་ཅིག །
kham sum drowé nyer tsö zhir gyur chik
To become the basis of sustenance for beings of the three worlds.
བདག་གཞན་མཉམ་ཉིད་རྟོགས་པའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཀྱིས། །
dakzhen nyamnyi tokpé yeshe kyi
Grant your blessings so that with the wisdom realizing the equality of self and others,
བདག་དོན་གཉིས་འཛིན་འཆིང་
